En medio de su gira española, nos comunicamos con los chicos de Dirty Thrills para que nos contaran algunos detalles de la misma.
MiM – Hola chicos, Cómo estáis. Están en el medio de vuestra gira española. ¿Cómo va? ¿Es vuestra primera vez en España? ¿Cómo la organizaron?
DT - Hola! Estamos estupendamente, gracias; estamos muy excitados por esta gira que ha sido capaz de incrementar nuestra base de fans en España. Estuvimos tiempo atras en Barcelona como banda de soporte de Europa, y fue increíble. El público realmente la pasó bien y fuimos muy bien recibidos. La gira está siendo maravillosa hasta el momento.
MiM - ¿Han encontrado una ciudad donde el concierto haya sido más caliente que en el resto?
DT – Es una pregunta difícil, toda la gira ha sido excitante y positive hasta el momento. Los fans de Barcelona son divertidos.
MiM - ¿qué podemos esperar de vuestros conciertos?
DT – Puedes esperar pura energía y rock n roll es nuestras actuaciones. Se dice que las actuaciones en directo hay que verlas. Constantemente saltamos por el escenario y nunca nos quedamos tranquilos. Espero que vengas a verlo por ti mismo.
MiM - ¿Hay alguna influencia de Led Zeppelin o The Doors en vuestra música? ¿Qué otra sinfluencias podemos encontrar en vuestra música?
DT – Cada uno de nosotros viene de un entorno musical diferente, y estamos influenciados por un montón de grupos y géneros. El sonido de nuestro grupo se deriva de bandas de rock n roll como Rival Son's, Led Zeppelin y The White Stripes.
MiM – A veces pienso que el rock and roll es muy sensual. ¿Qué piensas de ello? Sexo, drogas y rock and roll, ¿Consideras que aun funciona como lema?
DT – Pienso que el sexo es la influencia más grande en el rock and roll. Está en todas partes. Hay un gran componente sensual en nuestra música y nuestras actuaciones en directo. Sexo, drogas y rock n roll es básicamente la Biblia del estilo musical.
MiM – ¿Van a tocar solo canciones de ambos Ep’s o habrá más?
DT – Tocaremos material de nuestras tres grabaciones. Estamos trabajando en nuevo material en este momento, pero no lo mostraremos hasta que este grabado.
MiM - ¿Ha habido alguna mala experiencia en esta gira, o alguna buena?
DT – No realmente, nos gusta la experiencia de girar. Nos gusta viajar por todo el mundo, tocando en diferentes lugares y conocer nuevos amigos.
MiM – ¿Algo más que nos quieras comentar?
DT – Estamos disfrutando esta gira mucho. ¡Ven a vernos tocar!
MiM – Que tengan una buena gira con muchas experiencias positivas.

You can expect pure energy and rock n roll from our gigs
MiM - Hello guys, how are you? You are in the middle of your Spanish Tour. How it’s going? It is your first tour around Spain?
DT - Hello! We are great thanks; we are super excited for this tour and have been looking forward to increasing our Spanish fan base :)
We have played Barcelona before supporting legendary band Europe, and it was incredible! The fans really enjoyed us, and were so welcoming.
The tour has been amazing so far!
MiM - Could you find one city when the concert was hotter than the rest?
DT - That's a difficult one, as all the gigs have been exciting and positive so far. Barcelona fans are fun!
MiM - In your concerts, what can we expect?
DT - You can expect pure energy and rock n roll from our gigs. It is said that live performance is a 'must see'. We constantly jump around the stage and never stand still. We hope you can come and see it for yourself.
MiM - Are there some influences of Led Zeppelin or The Doors in your music? What else can we found taking account your musical influences?
DT - The four of us come from various musical backgrounds, and take influence from a lot of different bands and genres. Our bands sound is derived from rock n roll bands like Rival Son's, Led Zeppelin and The White Stripes.
MiM - Sometimes I think that rock and roll is sexy. What do you think about it? Sex, drugs and rock and roll is still a real motto?
DT - I think sex is definitely the biggest influence in rock n roll. It's everywhere. There is a huge aspect of it within our music and stage performance. Sex, drugs and rock n roll is basically the bible of this lifestyle.
MiM - Are you going to play just songs from your both Ep’s or there is more?
DT - We will be playing material from all 3 of our releases. We are working on new material at the moment, but we are saving it until we record them.
MiM - Is there any bad experience until now during the tour? And good experience?
DT - Not really, we love the whole tour experience. We love travelling around the world, getting to play in different place and meeting new people.
MiM - Is there something else you would like to tell us?
DT - We are really enjoying this tour. Come and see us play!!!
